The recycling of rare-earth permanent magnets: an industrial and geopolitical challenge for Europe
How can we better identify, extract, and recycle permanent magnets to reduce the loss of strategic resources? How can we develop industrial supply chains in Europe capable of addressing these new challenges of sovereignty and sustainability?

Pour la troisième année consécutive, notre équipe participera au Jogging Entreprises avec une équipe de marcheurs et marcheuses et une équipe de joggeurs. 16 membres de l'équipe sont inscrit-es et représenteront ainsi le GeMMe ULiège pour soutenir ELA, l'association européenne contre les leucodystrophies.
L'événement est organisé par le RISE ULiège et Liege Science Park.

GeMMe at the DRC Mining Week 2026
Our team will be represented at the DRC Mining Week 2026 organized in Lubumbashi on 17-19 June. Prof. Eric Pirard, David Bastin and Michèle Batutiako will join and participate in the event during a 2-week trip in DRC in June.
